Early today Todd Phillips, director of Joker, made a big splash by dropping a pretty cool little piece of news to his own Instagram…
Joker: Folie à Deux, which in French translates to “madness for two”. But what exactly does this mean? Will we see a Harley Quinn along side Joaquin Phoenix‘ Joker? Or will we see a time jump with Bruce becoming a Batman?
Joker grossed $335.5 million in the United States and Canada, and $738.5 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $1.074 billion. It is the sixth-highest-grossing film of 2019 and the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time, as well as the first R-rated film to pass the billion-dollars.
