CW Casts Gotham Knights Leads

Batwoman writers Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux and Natalie Abrams are bringing us more from the world of Gotham on the CW, Gotham Knights are headed our way. Fallon Smythe, Tyler DiChiara, Oscar Morgan, Olivia Rose Keegan and Navia Robinson will star in the drama which is set to film a pilot.

Smythe will star as Harper Row, a streetwise, acerbic and often underestimated, blue-haired bisexual. She is a gifted engineer who can fix anything. But what Harper wants most of all is to repair the broken lives of the only person she trusts, her brother.

DiChiara will play Harper’s brother, Cullen. Clever and adept at reading human nature, Cullen is ready to fight his own battles. After years of hiding his true self from an abusive parent, the transgender teen is tired of being polite and agreeable.

Morgan will play Turner Hayes, Bruce Wayne’s adopted Son. Turner’s biological parents are murdered when he is young which leads to Bruce adopting him. Though he has never felt comfortable in Bruce’s world of wealth and privilege, he is resilient and determined to live up to his adoptive father’s name.

Keegan plays Duela, the unpredictable daughter of the most dangerous man in Gotham, Harvey Dent, aka TwoFace. Born in Arkham Asylum and above all a survivor, Duela is also a brutal fighter and skilled thief.

Finally we have, Robinson, who will play Carrie Kelley, a character last scene in The Dark Knight Returns animated films. Kelley is an idealistic teenager who talked her way into being Batman’s unlikely sidekick, taking up the mantel of Robin. So long as she can make it home by curfew, she’s the first to rush in to a dangerous situation.

With a very diverse cast Gotham Knights is shaping up to be a cool new look into the future of Gotham. Whether a crossover with other Arrowverse shows is possible still remains to be seen. The premise of the show takes place in the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder, his rebellious adopted son forges an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. And as the city’s most wanted criminals, this renegade band of misfits must fight to clear their names. But in a Gotham with no Dark Knight to protect it, the city descends into the most dangerous it’s ever been. However, hope comes from the most unexpected places as this team of mismatched fugitives will become its next generation of saviors.

Danny Cannon who will be the shows Executive Producer of the show posted on his Instagram an image of the Gotham City skyline in the daytime with the words “Gotham Knights” looming over the city.
