Rosario Dawson is set to star in the title role in “Ahsoka.” Dawson first took over the role from Ashley Eckstein in Season 2 of “The Mandalorian.” We also know that Natasha Liu Bordizzo will star as Sabine Wren in live action for the first time, as well Hayden Christensen back again as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. The series will focus on Ahsoka continuing to search for Ezra Bridger and Grand Admiral Thrawn 5 years after the events of Return of The Jedi.
Ivanna Sakhno also joins the cast to play what is believed to be a new “Star Wars” character in the series. But now we also know Mary Elizabeth Winstead has signed on for a role in the upcoming live-action series at Disney Plus, THR has confirmed.
No word yet on who Winstead will be playing, but the show will air sometime in 2023. Dave Filoni is writing and executive producing “Ahsoka” with Jon Favreau also executive producing.
