In a post credit scene in Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 2 we were treated to a tease of Adam Warlock. A character that MCU fans have been calling for for quite some time. And now thinks to an exclusive from Deadline, fans can rejoice as we have an actor and the hero originally dubbed “Him” makes his way tot he MCU.

Will Poulter will portray the energy manipulating, super strong hero Adam Warlock in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. James Gunn is hard at work finishing up the script and looks as if casting will begin to ramp up for new characters soon with the announcement of Poulter as Warlock. Poulter was most recently seen in Midsommar, The Revenant, Detroit, as well as the The Maze Runner films, and of course is well known for We’re The Millers where he costarred with Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, and Emma Roberts.

Production is expected to begin in early November with a targeted release date for May 5th 2023. I think this is great casting as Poulter is a huge talent and one of the great up and coming stars of the future. What are your thoughts on the casting? Answer the call in the comments below!
