It was a pretty cool teaser, packed with exciting images and moments, including the return of Snooki, that we will be sharing over the next coming weeks starting on Jerzday June 3rd. However. The teaser that originally aired on Instagram was lacking in a few points.
Ronnie seemed to be missing from the events taking place. Ronnie was recently arrested and released for a domestic abuse charge. Shortly after the release of the video, Ronnie made an announcement on his Instagram, saying he was stepping away from the show, to work on his mental health.
In the announcement made on his IG story, Ronnie said: “After talking to the team at MTV, we have mutually agreed that I will step away from the show while I seek medical treatment for mental health issues that I’ve ignored for too long. My number one goal now is facing my struggles head on. This process will be difficult, but my #1 priority is to get healthy and be the best man and the best father I can for my daughter.”
What remains to be seen is when exactly he is stepping away. Has he already made his departure? His arrest came after they filmed allegedly back in March at the Woodloch Resort on Lake Teedyuskung in Hawley, Wayne County. Ronnie was arrested in late April, his announcement was made in mid May. This leaves us just a little curious about when or if we will be seeing Ronnie again.
First off, I am very happy that Ronnie is taking the steps to take care of his mental health. As someone who suffers from depression, and anxiety, especially anxiety linked to being on air, or in the public, it is a huge step to just admit you need the help. So big respect to the Ronpage for doing what he needs, for himself, for his daughter, and his future. Second, I wish him nothing but the best. And third, I hope he is able to find is way and make a return to the show sooner then later. Ronnie is one of my favorite aspects of the show. I connect with him more then any one else.
