The Snyder Cut is upon us, and the other day we got a blurry new look at the addition of Jared Leto’s Joker to the film. First seen in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, Leto’s version of the iconic character came to, less then favorable reviews. All though I was a fun, I understand everyone’s disappointment in the character.
But now, Zack Snyder has given us a full look at the new Leto Joker for his cut of Justice League. Missing a few of his, newer traits.
As you can see the “Damaged” tattoo that most fans really pointed to being their major issue with the character has disappeared. Reasoning is unknown. Is this a flash back, before the Tat? Did he have it removed? Make up? Or did we straight up retcon this aspect of the character.
On the whole he looks much darker than his Suicide Squad counterpart. He seems to not be the club hoping socialite that we had seen in this world. Ironically, he looks much more damaged then he did. Sitting as a broken man in what seems to be an insane asylum, possibly Arkham.
