Two names that ring terror into the hearts of anyone who must look across the mat and see them staring back. Kong. Zilla. The baddest MFers on the planet are about to go one on one with each other. A fight we haven’t seen since 1962. And now we may be getting our first look at the rematch of the century.
According to Jordan Maison of Cinelinx.Com, the AFC Title game this Sunday the 24th. Jordan tweeted on Tuesday afternoon. Jordan has had a pretty good track record with this sort of thing in the past, so I look forward to seeing if he truly is correct again. I am dying to see a trailer or something for this film. I was overly excited for an HBO Max commercial on IG (which you can see below) that gave us a look at Kong punching Godzilla for all a second and a half. But an actual trailer?! Let’s do this!
Originally set for May, this epic rematch will now hit select cinemas, and HBO Max, on March 26th. It stars Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza Gonzalez, Jessica Henwick, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, and Damian Bichir.
